I was asked to create a stand for a school shield.

I know the Shields can vary in size and shapes, and that they some times need to stand inside a cabnet.

They are also displayed at sporting events!

My Idea was to create a flat pack stand that could be disasembled for transport or posted to schools or sporting clubs

I Laser cut 6mm MDF into two right angle triangles attached cross braces and a rest to hold the plaque / shield.

My focus has allway been to reduce waste, so the brace and rest was cut out of the inside of the triangle, repeating the shape give the stand function.
